Cover Story A cost-efficient nanocompositing strategy is proposed to integrate p-type QSe2 (Q = Sn, W) thermoelectrics into n-type face-centered cubic structured InSb to enhance its thermoelectric performance. The two-dimensional layered QSe2 endowed InSb with multiple functions of point defects, energy filtering, and microstructure engineering, synchronously optimizing its electrical and thermal properties. When provided with heat source in the environment, the thermoelectric module constructed by InSb with 3 wt% WSe2 can directly transport electric energy to the outside, and the efficiency of thermoelectric power generation has been significantly enhanced (see the article by Xin et al. on page 1353).
